Lacks has been awarded six different patents on Chromtec® products and processes. Developed as a high-quality, cost-effective alternative to chrome-plated steel and aluminum wheels, Chromtec® is used on a variety of wheels, including steel, cast aluminum and forged aluminum.

Offering improved resistance to the elements, our chrome-clad wheels deliver superior impact performance, are highly resistant to dents and abrasions, and will not peel, pit or rust, thanks to a patented three-layer high-impact composite.

Vehicles equipped with chrome-clad technology include the Dodge Ram 1500, Chrysler PT Cruiser, Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and Overland, Chrysler Concorde, Jeep Liberty, Mercury Sable, Pontiac Grand Am and Lincoln Town Car Limited Edition, among others.
